Peter Butcher, MCSP, MMACP, Grad, Dip, Phys
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist is a member of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Graduated from the North London School of Physiotherapy in 1979, having worked in the health service for 14 years, firstly at Edgware General Hospital in North London, before moving to St. Charles Hospital, West London and then to Bexhill Hospital in East Sussex. He developed experience in musculo-skeletal joint problems and became a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in 1985. Since working as a full time private practitioner from 1993, has developed further skills in the treatment of spinal and peripheral joint pains and also that of soft tissue disorders. Treatment of sports injuries has been an adjunct to his main interests and he was involved in running a sports clinic at the West London Stadium prior to moving to Bexhill where he became involved in treating a wider range of sports related dysfunctions. Low back and pelvic disorders are of a particular interest as are the associated lower limb presentations. Whilst he gained skills in the treatment of whiplash and neck pain and in particular those disorders affecting the shoulder girdle and upper limbs. Having used treatment techniques associated with joint problems over the more recent years he has become more experienced in treating muscular issues and rehabilitation techniques. Having also qualified through the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in Acupuncture, additional provision for pain relief can also be delivered.
Special interests:Muscular and soft tissue trauma. Treatment of spinal pains and sacro-iliac joint dysfunctions. Post-traumatic whiplash injuries and upper limb disorders with an emphasis on management of headaches
. Hip joint and knee pain including also foot bio-mechanics.
Rebecca Lunn BSc, MCSP.
Rebecca graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2006. Is a member of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Having studied Pilates and Exercise since 1996, achieved an Advanced Instructor Certificate in Modern Pilates in 2002, and currently also teaches Pilates at The Body Junction.
Special interestsMusculoskeletal physiotherapy with a special interest in remedial exercise and Pilates. Currently atending a series of courses run by the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Rebecca has a keen interest in the inter-relationship between muscles/joints and biomechanics.
Rose Vincent - Secretary
Moved into the Bexhill area seven years ago and started working for the Bexhill Physiotherapy Clinic in October 2005. Rose has been invaluable in both the move from Amherst Road in 2006 and an integrel part of both the development and expansion of the clinic over the last four years.
Debbie Ralley - Receptionist
Is the latest addition to the staff, and joined the clinic in March 2010. Debbie has a wealth of experience in dealing with the public and her office skills and client rapport is a real assett.
